"Our DNA is for the Championship" - Chirwa

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets assistant coach, Gilbert Chirwa, said the team's DNA is for the Championship and that they are out to fight for this year's championship after leapflogging Mighty Wanderers on top of the League.

He said this after their 1-3 victory over Songwe Border United which helped them to overtake the Nomads after they dropped points against Creck Sporting Club at the Balaka Stadium.

Chirwa said he knows that it will not be easy but the team has a spirit and a formula of winning the League which they see that they have started their chase for it now.

"I think our DNA is for the Championship, I know it won't be easy but we are in contention and we are on it." Said Chirwa.

He further described their trip to the North as very successful as they managed to return with 6 points and also got a cup win in their two and half weeks stay.

Bullets are now top with 40 points from 17 games as they have 13 wins, one draw and three defeats.
