Bullets move top after Chitipa win

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has began their second round in the TNM Super League on high after beating Chitipa United 0-2 at the Chitipa Stadium on Saturday afternoon to leapfrog Mighty Wanderers to the top of the standings.

Goals from Henry Chiwaya and Babatunde Adepoju were enough for the People's to condemn the hosts to their first defeat at the facility while overtaking Wanderers on the table at the same time.

Head coach for the team, Peter Mponda, hailed the players for their hard work as it was a very tough game but still fought hard in order to win.

"It was not a game of tactics but the players but their effort and worked hard, I'm happy with how the boys performed today so that we should win." Said Mponda.

Meanwhile he downplayed the remarks on what to do in order to keep the top spot as he said Wanderers are also good this season but thanked his players to dragging the team up despite not good this season.
