MAFCO rules Geoffrey out for four to five weeks

MAFCO FC left winger, Sunganani Geoffrey, has been ruled out for four to five weeks due to an injury, the team has confirmed.

The player was injured on the 33rd minute of the team's match against Silver Strikers at the Silver Stadium two weeks ago and the team through it's Facebook page has confirmed his absence.

"This follows an upper jaw fracture injury he picked up during our game against Silver Strikers a fortnight ago." Wrote the team.

Meanwhile, the team also confirmed that Geoffrey underwent a successful surgery and could return to training in the coming few weeks.

The player joined the team from Bangwe All Stars and has been useful due to the absence of Dan Chimbalanga who stay a year without playing due to injury and after two games, he also got injured.
