"We can't judge players with only one game" - Mgangira
Silver Strikers head coach, Peter Mgangira, says the newly signed players at the team cannot be judged using one matches and hopes they have learnt about the heat at the team.
He said this after the team's Charity Shield triumph over Mighty Wanderers at the Bingu National Stadium on Saturday 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in the regulation time.
Mgangira granted starts to Emmanuel Allan and Festus Duwe over Binwell Katinji and Uchizi Vunga but they lasted for 40 minutes before being replaced and the coach hopes more from them.
"I think we cannot judge them using one game, they are good players and I hope they have known the heat at the team and that we are a club that demands more from players." Said Mgangira.
The Bankers will begin their league campaign on Saturday when they host FCB Nyasa Big Bullets at the Bingu National Stadium.
