Mpinganjira: "Wanderers is developing a new left back"
Mighty Wanderers head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, has ruled out the chances of signing a new left back ahead of the 2025 season saying the team is developing a new left back.
He said this after the Nomads lost 5-3 ono penalties to Silver Strikers following a 2-2 draw in the regulation time of the NBS Bank Charity Shield at the Bingu National Stadium.
With Timothy Silwimba injured and center back headache at the team, Mpinganjira fielded Stanley Sanudi as a left back with Silwimba's back up, Emmanuel Nyirenda, playing as a center back alongside Lawrence Chaziya.
Meanwhile, Mpulumutsi said the team is not despite but at the right time, they will bring the newly developed player who was not mentioned.
"We are developing a new player on the position of which we don't want to give him pressure but I think he will be ready by mid-season." He said.
