Mpinganjira draws positives in Charity Shield defeat
Mighty Wanderers head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, says he is impressed with how his side played against Silver Strikers in the NBS Bank Charity Shield match and admitted that the red card cost them in the game.
He said this after the team's 5-3 loss on penalties against the Bankers at the Bingu National Stadium following a 2-all draw in the regulation time.
He said: "Overall it was a good game, we had some things which we were good on our side and also identified some mistakes which we are going to rectify them ahead of the League matches."
Meanwhile, he further said he was impressed with his new signing on how they played in the match and believes they will help the team reach its greatness in the 2025 season.
In the match, Blessings Singini assisted the first goal before netting the second but both goals were cancelled out by Binwell Katinji and Zebron Kalima in the second half.
