A successful North 5 Bonanza excites NRFA

The Northern Region Football Association says it is happy with how successful the NBS Bank North Five Bonanza has ended in Rumphi over the weekend.

The Association's Chairperson, Masiya Manda, said this on the final day of three day tournament which started on Friday upto Sunday and thanked the Sponsors for the colourful tourney.

"These kind of tournaments mostly lacks funding but we thank NBS Bank for coming in to help us. I hope every team now knows where to work on before the commencement of the League." Said Manda.

Meanwhile, Chairperson for the organising committee of the tournament, Alupheyo Chipanga, said the objectives of the tournament were met.

" We wanted to help our teams in the preparation for the new season, secondly we wanted to welcome Songwe Border with goals and also them scoring theirs and finally giving a chance to other brands to advertise their products of which everything went well." He said.
