"WE HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO WIN" - KAKONJE
Red Arrows' assistant coach, Kaliliro Kakonje, says his side is ready to face FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the second leg of the CAF Champions League Preliminary round on Saturday as they have no option but to fight for a win.
He said this in a pre-match interview granted to the members of the Press on Friday morning and explained they have prepared well and that his players have responded positively to what they have been doing.
"We are having another game tomorrow I can say the preparations have gone well and the boys have responded positively which is a positive to our side, we lost in the first game which is not giving us an option but to win this match so we will take it as a cup final and if we want to progress we need to win," Kakonje said.
Meanwhile, the team's captain, Saddam Phiri, said they have agreed to fight for a win so that they make their fans happy at home.
"We are ready for the match you know last week we did not produce the
best result but our coaches have worked with us, giving us good tactics so we want to fight so that we give our fans the best result." Said Phiri.
Meanwhile, the Airmen will go into this match trailing by two goals to one as the Malawi's Champions recorded a win at the Bingu National Stadium last Sunday.
The match will be played at the Heroes Stadium in the country's capital, Lusaka, from 15:00hrs and the winner of both legs will play TP Mazembe in the second round of the Preliminary round.
