CHIRWA, SENAJI GIVEN CAPTAINCY, KAJOKE SUSPENDED AT BULLETS

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has elevated right back, Gomegzani Chirwa, as the team's new captain with Kenyan defender, Clyde Senaji, appointed as his deputy.

This has been confirmed by one of the country's online sports platforms, Wa Ganyu, saying Precious Sambani had been stripped his captaincy soon after the team's 2-1 loss against Karonga United on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the defender missed training on Tuesday ahead of the Blantyre Derby as he is disappointed with the change at the team.

However, forward Hassan Kajoke, has been suspended for four months at the team with reasons unknown according to Wa Ganyu.

This development comes after the team's poor run in the 2024 TNM Super League which has seen them recording just four wins, 8 draws and two defeats in 14 games this season and stay 16 points behind leaders, Silver Strikers.
