CHITIPA MAKES A FINAL DECISION

Chitipa United will travel to Karonga to play Civo United on Friday in the TNM Super League despite reports that the team will not honour the fixture.

One of the insiders in the team has confirmed to our publication that the team has already announced the final squad that will travel on Thursday to Karonga ahead of the clash.

"They have agreed to play and will leave tomorrow for Karonga." The anonymous insider told us.

The team wrote SULOM to play Civo on Saturday as they were in Dedza in an away fixture on Sunday but the Association just shifted the game to Friday.

This did not please the team and planned to boycott the match while SULOM told them they won't change the match and if they do not honour the match, they will face a heavy punishment.

Basongo are positioned 14th on the table with 5 points from 7 games this season.
