Karonga United FC are the champions of the NBS Bank North Five Bonanza after finishing top of the standings with 9 points from 4 games.
Their triumph was confirmed after Mzuzu City Hammers narrowly beat Moyale Barracks 1-2 in the very last game of the tournament meaning Hammers missed a chance to defend the title.
Karonga managed to beat Chitipa United, Moyale Barracks and Songwe Border United and only lost to Mzuzu City Hammers in the three day Bonanza.
Meanwhile, Hammers have finished second with 9 points as well after managing to beat every opponent except rookies, Songwe Border United which has finished third with 6 points having beaten Chitipa and Mzuzu City Hammers but lost Moyale and Hammers.
Moyale Barracks have finished fourth with a win against Songwe Border United, a draw against Chitipa United and two defeats in hands of Karonga United and Mzuzu City Hammers whereas Chitipa United anchor the table with a point after drawing one and losing three matches.
