NYAMBOSE ASKS FANS TO STOP BOOING PLAYERS
Chitipa United head coach, Christopher Nyambose, says his team's poor performance in some matches in their home matches is sometimes due to booing of fans on players which gives them pressure when playing.
He said this on Wednesday after the game which they beat Moyale Barracks 2-0 to stay in contention for the survival of the League this season.
He said his team's did not play well in the first half of the game because their supporters were booing them and because most of them are youngsters, they fail to withstand the pressure.
He said, "I think it is not good for fans to be booing the players, they need to encourage the players and not to boo them so today at least better but on Sunday we ask them to stop that."
The Basongo are 15th on the table with ,25 points, two points behind 13th placed FOMO FC and have played 29 matches.
