Chipuwa, Kaziputa, Nyirenda and Kaipa handed coaching roles at Wanderers

Mighty Wanderers has given their former stars, Richard Chipuwa, Mike Kaziputa, Victor Nyirenda and Bongani Kaipa, coaching roles at their Reserve and Youth sides in the 2026-27 season.

This has been known on Wednesday when the Nomads announced the new coaching roles following some changes at the team.

The promotion of Albert Mpinganjira from Reserve coach to Strikers trainer at main team has lead to the promotion of George Sangala from Youth team while his deputy, Safarao Pompi, steps up as the Youth team head coach.

Meanwhile, Chipuwa who has been with the team for 15 years will be the goalkeepers trainer at the Reserve team while Kaziputa will serve as a team manager.

After leaving Chilomoni United, Kaipa will serve as a team manager for the Youth team while Victor Nyirenda doubling the roles of an assistant coach and strikers trainer.
