Chaziya, Thole keep cleansheets in Simba Bhora's win

Malawian duo, Lawrence Chaziya and William Thole, kicked off the season in Zimbabwe on a high note after keeping cleansheets in a 1-0 win over Manica Diamonds in the Castle Lager Premier League on Sunday.

Chaziya was handed a league debut with his new team while Thole continued his first choice role in his second season and both remained firm not to concede in the League.

Meanwhile, Simba Bhora scored a 91st minute winner to claim three points on the first day.

The 2024 League winners have now three points from one win on position 4 in the League.
