Dedza beat Ekhaya to secure Castel semi final spot

Goshen City Dedza Dynamos have become the first team to book a place in the semi finals of the Castel Challenge Cup after beating Ekhaya FC 2-0 in the Quarter finals at the Mpira Stadium on Saturday.

The team faced a third top flight League side in the tournament but it was not a problem for them as Luke Chima and Gift Magola scored late to secure a win.

Head coach Alex Ngwira was happy with the win as he said it will motivate the team after having an awful season in the League.

"We want to reach in the final and it is possible also to win it. We planned to restrict them from passing so that they should play long balls which worked for us and happy," said Ngwira.

The team will face the winner between Blue Eagles and Chitipa United in the semi final and this is their first time to secure the place in the stage.
