Sherperd Bushiri talent identification program ideal to Dedza Dynamos' long-term plan
The plans to have a strong Goshen City Dedza Dynamos side in the near future have began with a launch of football talent identification program through the Sherperd Bushiri foundation in order to have good players for the team.
This has been known through a press release by Prophet Sherperd Bushiri's Director of Communication, Aubrey Kusakala, dated 21 November 2025 which highlighted the whole plan.
The release said they know how Dedza Dynamos is struggling now in the league as they find themselves in the relegation zone but they believe that they will survive this season.
''We acknowledge the tough situation, but we also recognize and appreciate the hard work the boys and technical panel are putting in. We have full confidence in their ability and determination to fight and remain in the league,'' reads part of the release.
As part of preparing for the next season and a long-term strategy,
the Sherperd Bushiri Talent identification program to take to ground in order to identify and nurture talent from various districts of the country aimed at strengthening the team's squad.
The program is scheduled to start on 29 November 2025 in Mchinji before rolling it out to other districts soon with bonanza tournaments where various teams will be participating.
''Technical teams from Goshen City Dedza Dynamos, along with several of our sporting partners, will be present to assess and scout promising players,'' it added.
Recently, the club has been reportedly to have been courting former Flames coach Kinnah Phiri to assume the role of a technical director at the team as part of its technical building.
In October, Goshen City unveiled their partnership with the team in a deal that will see them pocketing K1.2 billion in the next two-and-half years with an aim of making it one of the elite teams in the country.
