De Jongh starts with victory in Zimbabwe
Former Silver Strikers head coach, Peter De Jongh, has began his second tenure at Highlanders FC in Zimbabwe with a win as they beat Bikita Minerals 1-2 in the Castle Lager Premier League in Zimbabwe on Sunday.
The Dutch was confirmed as the team's new coach last week and before this victory, the team had gone five games without a win to drop down in the League.
Meanwhile, the victory lifted the team up to 9th on the table with 32 points from 7 wins, 11 draws and 8 defeats in the League.
This is his second time to lead the team as he was the head coach of the team in 2019 and his tenure lasted for just one year.
