"Wanderers deserved to win" - Mponda
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Peter Mponda, has conceded a defeat over Mighty Wanderers saying his side was lucky to trail with just a goal at half time as the Nomads' first half performance was very good.
He said this after the team's 1-0 defeat at the Kamuzu Stadium to end their perfect start of the season as Blessings Mwalilino stroke on 11th minute to grant the Nomads a win.
He said, "The Nomads dominated the midfield in the first half of which that has been our strength this season so we accept the loss, Wanderers played well and they deserved to win." Said Mponda.
The People's team struggled in the game as their star performers, Mike Mkwate, Clyde Senaji and Lloyd Aaron were substituted as they failed to unlock the Nomads.
The defeat means Bullets have dropped their first league points this season but they remain top with 18 points from 7 matches in the League.
