"Scoring early and not to concede against a big team is something" - Mpinganjira

Mighty Wanderers head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, has saluted his players for playing according the coaches instructions and managing to silence FCB Nyasa Big Bullets to claim a rare derby win on Saturday.

He said this after the team's 1-0 win over their city rivals thanks to a Blessings Mwalilino'a strike on the 11th minute to down the People's team.

Mpinganjira said he was very happy with the win and the teams performance of the game and thanked his boys for the win.

"We indeed failed to convert many chances we created by that happens in football, scoring early and failing to concede against these big teams is something. I'm very happy with my boys." Said Mpinganjira.

The win means the Nomads moved two points behind Bullets on second as they have 16 points from 6 games having claimed five wins and a draw.
