Tigers struggle continues with Creck defeat
Mighty Tigers have started on a low note in the 2025 season after recording a fourth defeat in their opening five games after being beaten 1-0 by Creck Sporting Club at the Champions Stadium in Dowa on Sunday afternoon.
Babangida Ishaya scored a lone in the first half as Tigers tried to come back into the game but the struggling hosts could not let the game go away from them as they held the visitors brilliantly.
Technical Director for the team, Robin Alufandika, described the defeat as unlucky as the team played well in the match.
"It was a good game but Lucky was not on our side, we played a good team and we tried so that we get a good results but we have failed so we should just look forward to our next match." Said Alufandika.
This was Tigers' first match outside Blantyre as they have played their past four matches at the Kamuzu Stadium.
The result takes the Kaukau boys down to 15th on the table with three points from five games.
