Creck records first 2025 win
A lone goal from Nigerian forward, Babangida Ishaya, was enough for Creck Sporting Club to record their first win of the 2025 season after beating Mighty Tigers 1-0 at the Champions Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Having lost two and drawn one game in their first three matches of the season, the team came strong against Tigers to claim back to back clean sheets and move out of the relegation zone.
Assistant coach for the team, Abel Mkandawire, said after the match that his team needed the win much.
"It was a good game and a good result which we have been looking for, the boys fought for it and we have gotten it I'm happy for that." Said Mkandawire.
He further said his team had no pressure after an awful start of the season but believed that results would come in a designated time.
The win pushes Creck from 15th to 13th on the log table with four points fom four matches having won one, drawn one and lost two matches.
