Chipungu inspires Civil to first League win
Precious Chipungu got his first goals for Civil Service United after netting two second half goals to claim a 0-2 win over Blue Eagles at the Nankhaka Stadium on Sunday and record their first win of the season.
The Civil Servants had a final 20 minutes of dominance which gave them two goals from Chipungu, who was named the man of the match after the match, and move out of the relegation zone.
Head coach for the team, Abbas Makawa, hailed his boys for playing according to instructions and claim their first win of the season.
"It was a good game, we started on a low pace in the first half but in the second half we talked to the boys and told them to attack more which they did and we scored two goals, I am very happy with the results." Said Makawa.
The win takes Civil up to 11th on the table as they now have 4 points from four games having won one game, drawn once and lost two games.
