Songwe Border takes Points donation campaign to Blantyre
The stopping of many USA donations has empowered local donors, Songwe Border United, to donate more points and goals in the TNM Super League after losing 7-0 against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets at the Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The rookies conceded three goals in the first half before conceding four in the second half to continue with their poor run of results in the top flight League in their debut season.
Head coach, Enock Mhone, said his team was playing against a big team in the League and that they conceded most goals through avoidable mistakes.
"We started well but after conceding the penalty, we were weakened and went on to concede some cheap goals." He said.
He also said his team needs experienced players as it has only two players who have played in the but he remains hopeful that his team will turn the tables around.
Songwe are currently 16th on the table with no points from three matches and have conceded 12
