TEMWA EQUALS HER OWN RECORD IN USA

Scorchers forward, Temwa Chawinga, was on target again in her third straight match this season after netting an opener in a Kansas City Current's 3-0 win over Utah Royals on Saturday night in the United States of America.

Having scored two goals in two games, Chawinga continued her impressive run with yet another goal to give herself a chance to defend her golden Boot award she won last year.

However, from last season to date, Chawinga has managed to score in 8 consecutive matches equaling her own record set in the 2024-25 season.
