CHIKUPIRA FIRES BRACE IN ZAMBIA

Scorchers forward, Vanessa Chikupira, was in top form after scoring twice to help Green Buffaloes Ladies secure a 4-2 win over Police Dove Queens FC in the National Women's League in Zambia on Thursday afternoon.

The defending Champions went ahead through Maylan Mulenga on 7th minute of the game before Patricia Solo levelling the scores on 17th minute but Chikupira's quick brace on 39th and 41st minute put the team 3-1 at half time.

Edah Lungu had to put the game alive for Police Dove on 82nd minute but Mulenga killed off the game with her second goal of the match two minutes later.

The former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women forward is also included in the Scorchers Provisional squad for the COSAFA Women's Championship of this year.
