SPIRITS DIE IN DEDZA AS CIVIL STUN DYNAMOS
Civil Service United has become the first team this season to walk away with three points at the Dedza Stadium after granting Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos to their first home loss this season in a 0-1 win on Sunday afternoon.
A second half strike from Festus Duwe was enough to seal maximum points for the Civil Servants who have moved up to fifth on the log table and complete also a league double over the Dedza boma based side this season.
Head coach for Civil Service United, Abbas Makawa, said he is happy with the win and thanked his boys for their hard working spirit.
"It was a nice game, I knew it would be tough as we are coming from a loss and a draw but the boys put a gallant fight, we got a lot of chances in the first half which we missed but in the second we got a goal and managed to defend it, I'm very happy because we have won today." Said Makawa.
