BLUE EAGLES CUP WIN DELIGHTS CRFA
The Central Region Football Association says it is happy to see one of their teams, Blue Eagles, lifting the 2024 FDH Bank Cup and this speaks the volume of their League.
The was said at the Bingu National Stadium where the Area 30 based side were crowned the Champions after beating FCB Nyasa Big Bullets 3-2 on post match penalties following a goalless draw in the 90 minutes.
The Association's general secretary, Antonio Manda, said as an Association, they are happy with Blue Eagles.
He said: "I am excited that team from our region has made history of being first regional team to win national cup in the country. They defeated Silver Strikers, Karonga United, Baka City and now defending Champions, this speaks volume of our league and if we had enough money obviously it would be more than competitive regional league in the country," Said Manda.
