"BULLETS, SILVER, WANDERERS GAME DONT DECIDE THE LEAGUE" - MPONDA

Silver Strikers head coach, Peter Mponda, said the games involving Silver Strikers, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers do not decide the League as a team needs to win all matches.

He said this ahead of the team's match with Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at the Silver Stadium on Sunday and said this was proven last season when the team lost the league despite not losing to Bullets.

"I think these games do not decide the League as we witnessed last year, we did not lose to Bullets but still failed to win the League because we lost to some smaller teams." Said Mponda.

Ahead of the match, he said his team is ready for the match and are already motivated to do well in order to safeguard their top spot in the League.

The team are on position one with 16 points from 6 games games having won five times and drawn once.
