WANDERERS ROPE IN EX-SULOM PRESIDENT

Former Super League of Malawi President, Tiyasomba Banda, will be one of the board members at Mighty Mukuru Wanderers after the team's President, Dr Thomson Mpimganjira, has named him in the team's hierarchy.

Mpinganjira made the announcement on Friday a week after dissolving the old board and now, four members have been restored at the team namely Charles Gondwe, Limbani Magomero, Mervis Mangulenje and David Kanyenda. Madalitso Musa, Andre Kalinde and Banda have now completed the board names.

Meanwhile, representatives each from both Ekhaya Farm Foods and Mukuru will also be part of the board and their tenure of office is two years.

The board is expected to have their first job of hiring a new coach after the departure of Mark Harrison in December and 30 coaches have applied for the job.
