NYIRENDA ENCOURAGES LWEMBA

Moyale Barracks veteran defender, George Nyirenda, has encouraged Chitipa United's captain, Chris Lwemba, to work extra hard as he is one of the best players in the league.

Nyirenda wrote this on his Facebook account after Lwemba missed out on two awards, defender of the season and rookie of the season awards, in a TNM Super League Gala awards at the Mount Soche hotel on Friday.

Nyirenda said Lwemba had the best season in 2023 with Chitipa United and the stats proves that he was indeed on his best.

"Keep pushing brother Chris Lwemba your time will come, You were one of the best, stats never lie." Wrote Nyirenda.

Lwemba did well with Chitipa United as he won five man of the match awards, more than any other defender in the league making him to be nominated for the two awards.
