DE JONGH CONGRATULATES BULLETS FOR CAF MATCH VICTORY
Silver Strikers controversial head coach, Peter De Jongh, has congratulated FCB Nyasa Big Bullets after the team secured their away 2-0 win against FC Dragon of Equatorial Guinea in the CAF Champions league last Sunday.
De Jongh spoke this on Thursday in a prematch presser ahead of the team's match against Extreme FC on Friday at the Bingu National Stadium. He said Bullets'win is a good news in the success of Malawi's Football.
"I must congratulate Bullets for the away victory. It's a good job done and I wish them the best in the return leg. A win for Bullets in CAF Champions league is good news for Malawi football and for the country," said de Jongh.
Meanwhile, the De Jongh says his side is ready to face Extreme and he is hoping for the win. Silver Strikers are fourth in the league with 32 points from 18 games and a win will take them top of the table.
