SAMBANI RULED OUT FOR THREE WEEKS, 6 WITH FLU AT BULLETS
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will not have their deputy captain, Precious Sambani, in their second leg of the CAF Champions league match with FC Dragon at the Bingu National Stadium due to a groin injury that has ruled him out for 3 weeks.
The team's head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, confirmed about the news when talking to the team's media ahead of the match. He said Sambani was replaced by Eric Kaonga at half time after seeing that he has been struggling with his leg and after examination, he won't be available for the next three ways.
Meanwhile, Pasuwa said the team's 6 players are under medical monitoring after they came with flu from Equatorial Guinea where they played their first leg match.
"We had 6 players who were down with flu and these re Clyde Senaji, Patrick Mwaungulu, MacFarlane Mgwira, Kesten Simbi, Frank Willard and Ephraim Kondowe who were under medical observation, but they are now improving." Said Pasuwa
