"I SEE ANGER AND HUNGER IN THE BOYS" - WADAWADA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Wedson Nyirenda says he has seen anger and hunger in his players, which shows how painful it was to be eliminated from the Airtel Top 8.
He was speaking on Thursday during a pre-match interview ahead of their game against Ekhaya FC — the same opponents who knocked them out last Sunday.
Nyirenda said it is always difficult to face the same opponent in successive matches, but his team will make sure to get things right this time.
"What is needed now is to maintain momentum in the league. We are on a three-game winning streak, so we need to remain positive in order to get a vital result in the game," said Wadawada.
He also said pressure is always present in football, but the key is knowing how to manage it and keep going.
The team will have Blessings Mpokera undergoing a late fitness test, while Paul Master, Crispin Mapemba and Ahamad Kung’unde will miss out due to injury.
