Ng'ambi inspires Bullets Legends to a cup win
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Legends are the Champions of the Premier Bet Legends International cup after coming from behind to beat Silver Legends 2-1 in the final at the Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
After scoring a brace to take Bullets into the final, Robert Baggio Ng'ambi stepped up yet again to net a winner on the 58th minute and help the team win the trophy.
Timothy Chitedze had put the Bankers ahead on 8th minute but Lawrence Mnenula levelled on 32nd minute before Ng'ambi winning the match.
In another match, Mighty Wanderers, not only failed to defend the title, but also failed to record a win after suffering a 3-1 defeat over Zimbabwean side, Dynamos Legends and the visitors finished third in the two day tournament.

Thole, Nyasulu shine on debuts in Zimbabwe
Flames goalkeeper, William Thole, and defender Nickson Nyasulu, made impressice debuts to mark their professional career in Zimbabwe after helping their respective teams earn a point on their opening match of the Castle Lager Premier League in Zimbabwe.
Defending champions, Simba Bhora, hosted FC Platinum on Saturday afternoon and the hosts had newly signed Thole on the goals and made brilliant saves for deny Platinum in the game.
However, Nickson Nyasulu earned praises with his brilliant performance as he played full match for Platinum and managed to come out with a cleansheet too in the match.
Forward, Vincent Nyangulu came in on 62nd minute for Platinum to make his debut while Precious Phiri was left on the bench for Platinum in the same match.

MPHASI'S BRACE TAKES DYNAMOS TOP
Malawian forward, Chifundo Mphasi, scored two goals to inspire Power Dynamos to a 1-3 over his former club, Kabwe Warriors, in a much played on Saturday afternoon.
Mphasi has enjoyed a lot with his current performance after earning his fifth start in a row and got his first goal on the 16th minute of the game.
In the second half, Austin Muwowo scored from the spot to double the lead but another Malawian, Gabriel Banda put the game alive with a fine goal on 58th minute for Kabwe.
Mphasi killed off the game with a stunning goal 8 minutes later to mark his third goal and three assists in his last five matches.
Power Dynamos are top of the League now with 48 points from 26 games, level on points with ZESCO United but Dynamos have a better goal difference.
In another match, ZANACO FC have moved out of the relegation zone goal aggregate after sealing a comeback 1-2 win over Mutondo Stars on Saturday.
Chawanangwa Kaonga was replaced on 39th minute while Robert Saizi was on the bench as the Bankers scored two late goals to move up to 29th points on 14th position, level on points with number 13 and number 15 teams.

Nyasulu preaches NRFA collectiveness
The Northern Region Football Association has a new chairperson as immediate past General Secretary, Masiya Nyasulu, beat immediate past chair, Chauka Masinga, in an election held in Mzuzu on Saturday afternoon.
The Election was done after the suspension of the first one in Rumphi on 15th February 2025 following wrangles about who should vote and this has brought division as some affiliates did not vote on saturday.
Nyasulu got 16 votes to 0 of Mwasinga while Epimack Lwanja was voted in as a vice chairperson, Lupakisho Simwela is the new General Secretary with Charles Noel Nyirenda going Unopposed as s vice.
FΓ©lix Chidongo Chipeta is the treasurer, the Legal advisor is Counsel Kolezi Phiri while Joshua Chinguwo, Wachisa Mnkhondya, Shudreck Chiundiza, Onward Munthali and Rose Phiri went unopposed as committee members.
Speaking after the victory, Nyasulu said was happy with the win and asked for collective work at the Association.
"It is up to them to leave for good or help to develop football in our region so we ask all stakeholders to come with their ideas and help the new committee." Said Nyasulu.
K26 MILLION H-ADAM SPONSORSHIP DEAL EXCITES ERFA
The Eastern Region Football Association says it is happy with the K26 million sponsorship deal from H Adam Wholesalers as they set to make great things at the Association.
The Association's Chairperson, Abdul Chiwalo, said during the unveiling event that the Association is very ready to make use of the deal.
"As an Association we are very happy and we know this is a start of good and we promise to manage this league in a very professional way." Said Chiwalo.
He however said the Association still needs some sponsors for a Division One League as this is only for the Premier Division of the Region.
The League is set to kick off on 19th April 2025 to make history as the first ever Eastern Region League.

Two goals from Robert Ng'ambi and one from John Lanjesi were vital for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Legends as they came from behind to beat rivals, Mighty Wanderers 3-1 in the Premier Bet Legends cup at the Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.
The People's team scored all goals in the second half after Victor Nyirenda had put the Nomads ahead on 7th minute.
It was an entertaining match where people watched downball but entered in a moment of high tempers when Bullets fans stoned an assistant referee who made some questionable decisions.
Meanwhile, the People's team will play Silver Strikers Legends which beat Zimbabwean side, Dynamos Legends 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes in an early kick off.
