Malawi Women's National Football Team, the Scorchers will face Zimbabwe in the second round of the African qualifiers for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

These follows the draw conducted by the Confederation of African football (CAF) on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

The Scorchers will face Zimbabwe in a two-legged tie on 5 to 13 October 2026.

If the Scorchers managed to beat Zimbabwe they will progress to the next round where they are expected to face the winner between Kenya and Seychelles.
