Thole keeps 15th cleansheet in Zimbabwe
Malawian International goalkeeper, William Thole, continues to shine in his debut season for Castle Lager Premier League defending champions, Simba Bhora, after keeping 15 cleansheets in 27 matches.
The former Mighty Wanderers goalkeeper achieved this after his team was held to a goalless draw against Green Fuel on Saturday to open a two points gap on top of the League.
Thole joined the team in January after his expiry of his contact with the Nomads and have been featured in every game which the team has played this season.
After 27 games, Thole had conceded just 16 goals which is the fewest in all teams to have conceded in the League while also maintaining 15 cleansheets in the League.
Meanwhile, the team could have widened their gap to four points if they had won as Scottland FC were beaten to relegation zone side, Dynamos 2-3 at home to drop points.
They are remaining with 7 games to finish the League as they look to defend it.
