Chintheche hold Chilumba in Chitipa

Chintheche United managed to return to Nkhatabay with a valuable point after holding Chilumba Barracks to a 1-1 draw at the Chitipa Stadium.

Noah Clement opened the scores on 29th minute for the hosts before the visitors levelling the scores on 41st minute to claim a point in Chitipa.

Head coach for the hosts, Nelson Chirwa described the game as balanced as both teams played very well in search of a win.

"It was a good game, both teams came here to win and for us we are at the bottom of the League so we wanted a win and we scored a goal but towards the end of the first half we relaxed and our friends scored." Said Chirwa.

Meanwhile, Assistant coach for Chintheche United, MacMillan Banda, said hid team missed a lot of chances which could have won them the game.
