"That was a clear penalty" - Kayira

Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets captain, Chimango Kayira said the penalty kick awarded to Mighty Wanderers against Mzuzu City Hammers in the TNM Super League on Saturday was a clear penalty.

This comes after some fans criticised the referee, Cassim Shaibu for awarding the penalty after Wisdom Mpinganjira was fouled in thd box and also Hammers coach, Elias Chirambo claimed the penalty to be dubious.

Meanwhile, Kayira wrote on his Facebook to say the referee was on point as the foul was correct and the Nomads deserved a penalty kick.

"Let the heads stop rolling. That was a clear penalty. Tough luck Mzuzu Hammers." Wrote Kayira.

The penalty was converted into a lone goal scored by Isaac Kaliati which won maximum points for the Nomads to open a five point gap on top of the League.
