Hammers fail to break guns and Bullets
Mzuzu City Hammers' struggle in the 2025 TNM. Super League season continues after they suffered their third defeat of the season in a 6-1 loss over Blue Eagles at the Nankhaka Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Straight from a 4-0 defeat over Civil Service United to be knocked out of the Airtel Top 8, the last year's fourth placed side were far from their best performance to conceed 6 and stuck in the relegation zone.
Assistant head coach for the team, Luckson Mauluka Nyoni, said he is now starting getting worried with their defense but they will look into it as they have no match near soon.
" That early penalty disturbed us and also we conceded two goals from corner kicks in two minutes so I would say we have contributed to the loss. We are worried now because we are conceding too much but will look into that."
The team is now 15th on the table with four points from five games having won one, drew one and lost three matches.
