Mwaungulu scores late to inspire Mazembe to victory

Patrick Mwaungulu was on target again on his second game for TP Mazembe to help the team beat Maniema Union 0-1 in the Playoffs Championship in Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday afternoon.

The youngster converted a free kick on the 87th minute to make it two goals in two games after being registered by the team following their end of FIFA transfer ban.

The goal is the third in three games for him in the playoffs as he scored last week on his Mazembe debut and also scored against Mazembe when playing for CD Don Bosco two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Lanjesi Nkhoma was handed a late start as he replaced a colleague who got injured during warm ups and was replaced on 79th minute.
