Mzuzu City Hammers have made their first signing ahead of the 2025 season by signing Raiply FC deadly forward, James Gwayi.

The player has penned a three year deal with the 2024 Castel Challenge Cup finalists.

Gwayi was one of the best strikers in the SIMSO Mzuzu-12 Northern Region Football League where he scored 15 goals and also helped the team a lot in the Castel Challenge Cup.
