FOMO BEAT SILVER TO MOVE OUT OF RED ZONE

Friends Of Mulanje Orphans (FOMO) must fight to win their final match of the season against Karonga United after moving out of the relegation zone thanks to a 1-0 win over Champions, Silver Strikers, at the Mulanje Park Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Prince Kajore netted an 85th minute winner to seal the win and hand the Bankers their first defeat of the season but the battle is still on following Chitipa United's win over Moyale Barracks.

The rookies have 28 points, a point above 14th placed Bangwe All Stars and two points above Chitipa United on 15th position, all teams remaining with a game to wrap up the League.

Head coach Elvis Kafoteka said, "It's a big win and I'm happy with how the boys have performed today they came to fight and they really fought and we got the win.

Ahead of the final match, he said he will not allow his boys to celebrate the win in their camp saying that might bring complacency in the team.
