MWALILINO BRACE TAKES KARONGA EIGHTH
Blessings Mwalilino scored yet another brace against MAFCO to inspire the team to a 3-1 win and help them move up to 8th on the table in a match played at the Rumphi Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The forward opened the scores on 26th minute with a fine strike but was eclipsed by Peter Kasonga's free kick on 54th minute then substitute Alfred Chizinga restores the lead on 77th minute and Mwalilino completed his brace 8 minutes later.
Assistant coach for the team, Chris Crespo Chimkwita, said his boys were a bit afraid of MAFCO at first but after talking to them they displayed good Football to win the game.
"It was a good game our boys played very well. We were playing a good team with experienced players and our boys were at first afraid of them but after talking to them at half time not to be afraid of them and play their usual game, we saw them upping their games we managed to extend the goals." Said Chimkwita.
The team is now 8th with 29 point
