COSAFA CUP DRAW ON FRIDAY

The Confederation of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) has announced that the draw for the 2024 COSAFA Cup will be held on Friday in South Africa.

This has been announced via the Association's website and have set the new dates that it will start on 26 June 2024.

"The dates have been set for the #COSAFACUP2024, which will retain last year’s exciting format when it is held in South Africa from 26 June to 7 July, with the group stage draw to be held on Friday at 11h00 (CAT)." Wrote COSAFA.

Meanwhile, 12 teams will be drawn in three groups of four teams where group winners and one best runners up will progress to the semi finals.

South Africa, Zambia, Angola and the best places team in the World FIFA rankings will be seeded and Mauritius and Madagascar have opted not to compete in this year's tournament.
