"ITS A LESSON NOT TO UNDERRATE TEAMS" - MPONDA
Silver Strikers head coach, Peter Mponda, was not satisfied with how his players performed during his team's 4-2 win over Karonga United and said it was because of belittling their opponents.
He said this after the match to the Press saying his team poorly performed in the match and has given him a lesson that they should not underrate any team in the League.
"Maybe it's because of complacency because they played well against Creck and Wanderers now today maybe they belittled Karonga and our friends came and played very well only that they left with nothing but we have known that we should not underrate any team." Said Mponda.
Despite not impressed with the play, he said he was happy with the win as it has helped them move further in the league.
The Bankers have recorded 7 wins and a draw in their opening 8 matches and have 22 points on first position in the 2024 season.
