CHAWINGA ATTRACTS ENGLISH CLUBS

Scorchers captain, Tabitha Chawinga, has received interests from some English clubs that are looking for her signature after the end of her loan deal at PSG in France in May.

Chawinga is still attached to her mother team in China, Wuhan Jiangda University, but it's only 6 months remaining in her contract meaning she can sign any pre-contract with any team.

Meanwhile, her manager, Kuwala Msolomba, confirmed the news but said she will not rush to make a decision and that she is weighing the deals offered.

Msolomba also confirmed that PSG wants to make the deal permanent and has also gotten offers from Italian giants, AS Roma plus some unnamed English club.

Chawinga has performed well in 2022/23 and 2023/24 season after winning player of the season and golden boot awards in Italy and France respectively.
