CHITIPA UNITED, SULOM TUSSLE

Disagreements between Chitipa United and Super League of Malawi have arisen so far as the club look to boycott their Friday match against Civo United claiming the Association is failing to hear their grievances.

This comes after the Association released a fixture saying the club will play Civo United on Thursday just as they did with Mighty Waka Waka Tigers two weeks ago but the club wrote SULOM saying they are coming from an away fixture against Dedza Dynamos and that they should be considered to play on Saturday.

Meanwhile, SULOM shifted it to Friday but Chitipa wrote them again in disagreement to the move. Meanwhile, the Association has stood on the ground saying the match will go on as planned.

The Association says Chitipa will face a punishment if they do not honour the match while the Club says they will not honour the match and SULOM should go on with their decision as well.
