SIKELO NOMINATED FOR COSAFA AWARDS

Scorchers and Ntopwa Super Queens goalkeeper, Mercy Sikelo is amongst the three goalkeepers who have been nominated for the Inaugural 2023 COSAFA Awards in the category of the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year.

Sikelo has been nominated alongside Andile Dlamini and Kaylin Swart both from South Africa.

The winner will be announced at a gala awards ceremony in Durban on April 19, with a panel of judges from across the region having assessed their performances for the period of January 1 to December 31, 2023.

The judging covers their form for club and country.
