CHAWINGA LEADS GOAL INVOLVEMENT IN FRANCE

Scorchers captain, Tabitha Chawinga, continue to shine in her first season in France with PSG after having the best goal involvement (Goals+Assists) than any other player in the league.

Chawinga is the second leading scorer in the D1 Arkema after having 7 goals, two shy of Olympic Lyonnais forward, Ada Hergerben who has 9 while Eugene Le Sommer of Lyon and Gaetake Trinney of Paris FC have all 7 goals as well.

Chawinga provided three assists in a 6-0 win over Lille last week and that took her second in the chart for most assists with 6 assists now, two behind Kadidiatou Diani of Olympic Lyonnaise who has 8 in total.

Chawinga has now been directly involved in 13 goals in the French Elite Women's League more than any other player with Louise Flerry of Paris FC having 10 goal involvement on second.

The left footed forward became the first African women footballer to win the golden boot award in Italy where she played for Inter Milan in 2023. S
