NJALIWA RESCUES CAPS TO SECURE SEMI FINAL PLACE

Flames midfielder Lloyd Njaliwa scored an 80th minute equaliser to force the game into penalty shootouts where CAPS United secured a 4-3 win over ZPC Kariba to book a place in the semi finals of the Chibuku Super Cup in Zimbabwe on Saturday.

Njaliwa was handed a start into the game which his team conceded in the 75th minute but his goal rescued the team to take the game into shootouts.

He then went on to score the fourth penalty kick brilliantly as he sent the goalkeeper to the wrong direction to strengthen the chances of winning.

The midfielder is slowly becoming a regular scorer for CAPS United as he has netted four goals in the last 7 matches in all competitions for the team.

In the game, Uchizi Vunga was replaced in the 65th minute while Chawanangwa Kaonga was an unused substitute and Precious Phiri missed the action.
